I'm an interior designer and have a client that just bought some beautiful bar stools, but the legs are a really shiny chrome and it stands out a bit too much.i use an electric sander to dull all the shiny surfaces then use an oil based primer and then using an oil based paint apply 2 coats i'm going to suggest rust-o-leum paint in the color aluminum its the closest i've found to a brushed nickle finish. or if you're just looking to tone them down you can try lightly rubbing them with 0000 steel wool.Sometimes when chrome is brand new it can look a bit garish but remind your client that it will appear less noticeable.Ideally you should allow 24" per stool for a typical sized stool (measuring 19"-22"at the widest part). Sometimes A general design rule is to keep odd numbers when you can... 3, 5 etc for aesthetic reasons. If you have a need for 4 stools (i.e. 4 children) and your bar is not against a wall, then you can get away with the 4 stools. check out the source website for custom high quality stools at great prices.i found a great website of bar stools, counter stools, and lots of discount bar stools at premierebarstools.com comfortable bar stool will make the perfect addition... More to any bar set. It has a padded seat with a self return swivel mechanism and a metal-clad floor rail. The entire bar stool has a warm cherry finish that is complimentary for any room.Whether you want a static or swivel design, leather or wood finish, low or high stool, use our search tool to find your perfect contemporary bar stool.
